This past weekend, our second Ancient Tracks Camp took place with a dozen like-minded participants. Once again, we delved into Roman antiquity—this time at the Limes fort in Pohl, located along the former Roman frontier: the Limes. After spending the first few hours getting to know each other, we had the great honor of welcoming Tommes Rute, the initiator of the Limesmarsch 2023. He provided our guests with fascinating insights into the Roman army and its equipment. With a glass or two of Roman wine, we ended the evening around the campfire.
